By way of introduction

Greetings, I am your host, Godric of Finchale. I am aware that there was another individual of the same name who lived during the middle ages. Read up on his life, and you'll get a mighty clue to mine.

I am a Christian who detests most trappings of "Christian culture" in this New Rome in which I live. Including many so-called "Christian leaders." Hense the "heresy" of the title. Forsake this space if you are averse to the occasional bout of salty language. It's difficult to live down my past.

I love my God, my dear saviour Jesus, and also, without apology, the following things: curvaceous women (namely my dear Wife), sweet moppets (my Daughter chief amongst them), strong ale, proper urban design, modern musick done with taste and panache and words properly employed.

I am a scribbler by trade, after a long career of installing fire alarms.
